Der Internationale Auto Salon in Genf ist traditionell die erste europäische Automesse des Jahres. Im Jahr 1905 fand die Schweizer Messe als "Nationale Automobil- und Fahrradausstellung" zum ersten Mal statt. Seither öffnet sie Anfang März für rund zwei Wochen ihre Pforten.Mit jährlich rund 700.000 Besuchern gehört der Genfer Autosalon zu den wichtigsten Automessen weltweit.
