While there`s certainly nothing wrong with being a poacher (or "box striker"), in the case of Romário this classification is patently wrong - not only did he score goals from 30 yards out (one particularly beautiful example being the goal he scored in the 1996/97 season for Valencia against Atlético Madrid), he was a world class dribbler and passer who created at least half as many goals for his striking partner at Barca, Bulgarian Hristo Stoichkov, as he scored himself.
