Ganz im Stil des Kino-Vorbilds legt auch  Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy - The Telltale Series  Wert auf gute Musik. Daher zeigt der Ankündigungs-Teaser für das Spiel zwar wenig, präsentiert sich dafür aber während The Game Awards 2016 mit passender Musik zur Einstimmung. 

Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy - The Telltale Series ist ein Episodenspiel in fünf Teilen für Konsolen, PC und mobile Geräte. Das Adventure basierend auf dem Marvel-Franchise wird 2017 erscheinen, sowohl digital als auch in Form einer Season Pass-Disc.
