Im Rahmen der Comic Con in San Diego hat Amazon Prime einen ersten Teaser-Trailer zur neuen Like a Dragon: Yakuz a-Serie veröffentlicht, die noch im Herbst 2024 erscheinen soll. 

Um was geht's?  Inhaltlich wird lose das Originalspiel aus dem Jahr 2005 mit Ex-Mafioso Kazuma Kiryu aufgegriffen, der zusammen mit seinen Freunden im tokioter Vergnügungsviertel Kamurochō lebt. Die Handlung spielt dabei auf zwei Zeitlinien im Jahr 1995 und 2005. 

Die erste Part der insgesamt sechs Episoden erscheint am 24. Oktober , Part 2 folgt dann am 01. November.
