UP - December 03, 2009. The Porsche Boxster Spyder had its debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show. At 1,275 kilo it is the lightest Porsche of its kind. The new middle-engine-roadster represents - clearly visible - the puristic shape of a Porsche sports car - light, strong and consequently open, at teh same time most efficient. According to this formula the manufacturer created its successful road and racing sports cars - beginning with the legendary 550 Spyder until today's successful racing Porsche RS Spyder. The Boxster Spyder continues this line with road-registration. Next to Boxster and Boxter S the Spyder will be in the market off February 2010.
