The EuroNCAP-Institutein Bbrussels named the VW Golf to the Safest Car of the Year 2009. The Golf made it in all four categories: Passenger Safety, Child Saftey, Pedestrian Protection and supporting Safety- and DriverAssistenceSystems. That has been awarded with five stars. And with a total score of 103 points the Golf received the award „Safest Car 2009“.
