Turkish holding companies have defrauded Turks living in Germany of 25 billion Euros. A total of a million people are thought to have been cheated throughout Europe.So-called Islam holdings collected money in the 1990s at mosques in Germany. They promised huge profits, but then filed for insolvency. Many pious Turks were tricked out of their savings and are still fighting for compensation. They are also quarreling with Turkish politicians who touted the holdings but have done nothing to help the victims of fraud.
