drive It! and the German auto club ADAC join up to show the dangers of overloading. Our empty Skoda Octavia easily handled the swerve test and remained under control at all stages. Then we stuffed it with all the baggage that a family would take on holiday.The Octavia was clearly harder to handle, but thanks to the Skoda's ESP, our experienced driver could keep the car steady.
