Nearly 20 firebombs were discovered along railtracks around Berlin in October, and German cities have also been witnessing a spate of arson attacks on cars in recent months. Left-wing extremists have claimed responsibility, fanning fears of a revival of terrorism not seen since the heyday of the Red Army Faction. Are police and politicians right to be concerned?
