The Romaniacs rally has become the epitome of extreme off-road motocross. The five-day race covers 600 kilometers of rugged natural terrain in Romania's southern Carpathian mountains.
This year was the ninth rally, this time with a new route designed to take the world's best offroad bikers to their very limits and beyond. It starts in Sibiu, European capital of culture in 2007 and leads up through a grueling mountain obstacle course. It's a formidable challenge but can also be great fun for both professional and amateur riders.
